Title: IT Support Analyst

Department: IT

Reporting to: IT Support Project Manager


This position offers an opportunity for an approachable and motivated individual to join our growing company. We are looking for someone that is self-driven, takes ownership of their tasks, and is ready to take on larger projects as necessary.

You will provide operational support for our office based in New York, and will actively be involved in the following:

  • PC hardware support (both desktop and laptop)
  • Software installations and upgrades
  • Security administration (Windows, Exchange, SharePoint)
  • Network support
  • Routine Server monitoring and maintenance
  • Routine activities to support office staff
  • Perform regular operational tasks and processes
  • Assist other Support staff to ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion
  • Dealing with external suppliers
  • Contribute to departmental processes and best practices
  • Documenting processes and procedures

You will be required to troubleshoot problems and apply the appropriate solutions with confidence. You will be detail oriented and organised, while effectively tracking your work and providing regular updates and feedback. You will assist in setting up robust and secure processes to allow 24/7 operations. You may, on occasion, be required to travel to our other regional offices to provide on-site support when necessary.

  • Office desk and network layout/planning
  • Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Windows 7/8/10
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
  • Microsoft Office 2013/2016/365
  • VoIP Telephone Systems
  • Data management and backup strategies
  • Software licence management

The following skills would be desirable:

  • Familiarity with Dell SonicWALL / CISCO Firewalls
  • Office 365 administration
  • Virtualisation technology (Hyper-V)
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • SharePoint Online
  • Fuze Telephone System
  • Understanding of Cloud based applications and services
  • Ability to research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and practices
  • Some Citrix Environment Skills may be helpful


  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
  • Industry based Qualifications, MCSE, MCP, MCT, CCNA desirable
  • Previous experience in Desktop Support required
