Feedback from past placement students:

“OE is a great place to do an industrial placement. It offers a friendly workplace, interesting work and guidance where needed. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how macroeconomics is used in the real world and genuine experience in analysis, which will set you up both for your return to university and your future career.”

“My year at OE really gave me an edge when finishing by final year of my economics undergrad. Not only was the office environment a great place to work in, but the work was interesting and really helped to develop my economics knowledge. Overall, a great experience which I believe was a factor in gaining my first-class honours!”

“I have really enjoyed my year at OE, what has really surprised me is how nice and easy to get on with everyone has been throughout the year. Little things like Friday football and the work socials have made OE a brilliant place to work. Thank you to all who have helped me during my placement, especially the industry team who have been so welcoming and put up with me for the year!”
